Denying that any militant hideout was busted in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, police on Thursday warned circulating fake news on social media.
A police spokesman on Thursday said that some WhatsApp news groups are circulating fake news about busting of hideout at Wyuan Khrew area in Pulwama.
No such incident has taken place, he said.
However, the spokesman warned that action shall be taken against those spreading fake and unverified news.
