Department of Botany under Aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav organised Tree Talk to celebrate Palash Utsav 2021 under the guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Namarta on 17-04-2021 in which Mr. Om Parkash Sharma Vidyarthi (IFS) retired PCCF and "Sahitya Akademi Awardee" was invited as the resource person.
Through this mission Tree Talk Mr. Vidarthi enlightened the students and teaching fraternity with the local flora of the college campus and gave a strong message to spread awareness among the college students about plantation and preservation of local flora of medicinal and aesthetic value.
During Tree Talk programme Mr. Vidyarthi was accompanied by worthy Principal of the College Dr. Namarta, Prof. Indeevar Chanyal (H.O.D Botany)Prof. Neeru Dhalla (H.O.D Zoology), HODs and faculty members of different departments along with students of the college. The SOP's for COVID-19 were strictly followed by everybody.
