Lieutenant GeneralRanbir Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command called onthe Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh,  ShriRK Mathur, at the Raj Nivas in Leh today. He was accompanied by LieutenantGeneral Harinder Singh, General Officer Commanding 'Fire& Fury' Corps.

 During theirinteraction, Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh highlighted the strong bond sharedbetween the people of Ladakh and the Army, which is time tested and enduring.

At the invitation of Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, ShriRK Mathur visited the HQ of 'Fire & Fury' Corps later in the day, where hewas given a comprehensive brief on the operational and security situationpertaining to the Ladakh Sector. This was followed by a detailed discussion onissues related to civil - military cooperation and the role the Army can playin the planned developmental activities in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
