SOG Jammu in an operation with Greater Kailash Police succeeded in recovering  huge quantity of Bottles of Codeine phosphate (Banned drug) at Greater Kailash Chowk Jammu this afternoon.Reports revealed that a team of SOG Jammu led by SI Javid Katerialaid a special naka at Greater Kailash Chowk with the sleuths of Police Post Greater Kailash led by I/C PP SI Ranjeet Singh . One  truck bearing registration JK22B -1405 was intercepted which was coming from Punjab and cops during search of the vehicle recovered 1160 bottles of Codeine phosphate (banned drug) from the vehicle whichwas otherwise carrying Ration items. The cops detained two narcotic smugglers who were smuggling the above contraband in the truck.

They have been identified as Driver Mohd. Iqbal S/oAssadullah Waggey R/o Kachidora Shopian and co-driver namly Mohd.Ashraf  S/o Assadullah R/o Kachidora Shopian . A caseunder relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Gangyal. Yesterdayalso SOG Jammu under the Supervision of SSP Sandeep Mehta,  has recovered a huge consignment at Samba inwhich 4000 bottles of the banned drugs were seized and three Narco Smugglerswere arrested. This is second consecutive recovery by SOG Jammu in last 24hours.
