Around 200 jhuggis in Maratha Mohalla near Trikuta Nagar Railway station were burnt to ashes yesterday night when they caught fire due to unknown reason.
Atleast 41 of the jhuggis belonged to the Rohingyas and according to the eye witnesses, it was a massive fire and wind fuelled the fire. Fire Brigade reached the spot after an hour and no-one from administration has visited the spot. The people were perturbed to see their belonging being gutted to ashes by the fire as all of them residing in the area could barely arrange two meals for their families.
