Today on June 26, 2019, a joint team of SOG Jammu and PP Narwal, while on naka checking, stopped a truck bearing registration number JK18 4571 for checking. The driver was identified as Aiyaz Ahmed Lone S/o farooq ahmed lone R/o Pantha chowk srinagar and his helper as jahangir ahmed S/o Mohd Hatam R/o pulwama. On search of the vehicle, approximately 4 quintals of Poppy straw were recovered from their possession.
In relation to this, FIR no. 190/19 U/s 8/15/29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Bahufort and investigation is underway.
