Advisor UT Ladakh Chairs Review Meeting of the Expenditure of Funds Police Department

Advisor to the UT Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal( IAS) chaired a meeting to review the Expenditure of funds under the revenue component and capital component of the Home Department for the current Financial Year in the VC Conference Hall, Civil Secretariat, Leh.

The meeting, held in the presence of key stakeholders, discussed the progressive steps and expenditure of budgets for the significant development of various projects in the Police Department. During the meeting, the Police Department, and concerned officials from various departments presented their workwise expenditure reports before the chair.

Dr. Kotwal reviewed the work expenditure of officials minutely and directed the executing agencies that inspection of the projects to be done regularly by the respective Xens, AEEs and JEEs to ensure quality of work being executed. Highlighting the importance of collaborative effort, the Advisor issued directions to the concerned officials to ensure maximum expenditure and timely release of payment to contractors so that the functioning of both work and quality is not suffer. At the end of the meeting, the Advisor directed to process various medical reimbursement cases on priority basis.

The meeting was attended by the ADGP Ladakh; Chief Engineer, PWD Ladakh and CPWD AIG, Provision, SSP Leh and Kargil; Senior Accounts Officer, SP Traffic Ladakh; Deputy Planning, SE, PWD Leh; AEE, Kargil; and other officials joined the meeting virtually.
