A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) who was ailing and under treatment committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Srinagar on Saturday.
Officials told (KNO), that a CRPF trooper, identified as HC Dilbagh Singh of 23 Battalion, posted at Srinagar civil secretariat, shot himself while on duty at around 12:30 Am tonight.
Soon after the incident, his colleagues rushed towards him and found him in a pool of blood.
The injured Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead, they said. A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) official told KNO that the HC was sick and under treatment since past few weeks
