Air traffic remained suspended for the third day on Monday at Srinagar International Airport due to dense fog, an official of airport said.
Due to very poor visibility following dense fog, not a single flight could operate at the Airport, he told.
He said air traffic will be resumed only if there is improvement in the visibility.Air traffic remained suspended on Saturday, when all the flights were cancelled.However, on Friday eleven flights were cancelled in the morning due to poor visibility and later air traffic was resumed in the afternoon. Meanwhile, passengers who were scheduled to travel by air from hereto different parts of the country and abroad alleged that Airport officials have failed to provide any prior information about cancellation of flights to them. We had to travel from different parts of the valley to airport only to be told that flights have been cancelled, they said.
