After being suspended for nearly a day because of inclement climate, the Amarnath Yatra resumed on Monday because the twelfth batch of 4,026 pilgrims left Jammu to go to the holy Amarnath cave at an altitude of three,880 meters in south Kashmir. The yatra from Jammu was suspended because of dangerous climate and no batch was allowed to proceed in the direction of base camps within the Valley on Sunday.
