All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Incharge J&K Party affairs Ambika Soni, MP and AICC general secretary & Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha,  Ghulam Nabi Azad will arrive hereon January 16 on two day visit  to take stock of the current political and security situation.

According to  a  party handout, two AICC leaders will interact with senior party functionaries including former Ministers and legislators to take stock of current political and security scenario in J&K.

Senior leaders from Jammu and Kashmir will meet the AICC leaders and brief  them  of prevailing scenario  in Jammu and Kashmir.  A meeting of PCC Executive is also scheduled to be held during their stay on January 16-17 to discuss the current political developments and road map for the party.
