At least seven militants were killed when Army foiled a BATaction in Keran sector of Kupwara district of north Kashmir, defence spokesmanRajesh Kalia told.
He said that in the last 36 hours number of attempts todisrupt the peace and to target the Amarnath Yatra were made in Kashmir, and aBAT attempt was made on one of the forward posts in Keran sector and foiled byalert troops resulting in the killing of five to seven regulars/militants.
Hesaid that security forces will continue to respond to all nefarious activitiesalong the LoC and the hinterland.
