Leaders and the activists of Bharatiya Janata Party paid rich tributes to the “Iron Lady” of India, Late Smt. Sushma Swaraj, former Union Minister of India for External Affairs, while senior leaders of partyremembered the contributions, she made during her lifetime towards the party,society and the Nation, at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar. Former unionMinister Chaman Lal Gupta, BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul,former Dy. CMs Dr. Nirmal Singh, Kavinder Gupta, MLC Ashok Khajuria, partyState General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, Mayor ChanderMohan Gupta, former Ministers Sat Sharma, Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli, Bali Bhagat,Sham Choudhary, former MoS Priya Sethi, former MLA and other senior leaders ofthe party paid tributes to the former Union Minister Late Smt. Sushma Swaraj.ChamanLal Gupta, remembered the old memories of the moments shared with the greatlady, while the tall leader visited J&K in the early times. He said thatshe was amongst the few who will be remembered with respect even by thepolitical opponents. Narrating her life history and political career, headvocated that her life be seen as the role model for the true womenempowerment.

Ashok Kaul, while paying respect to the tall leader, termedher as the true daughter of modern India. He explained that since her childhoodshe led a struggle-full life for the society. She threw light upon thecontributions of the former Union Minister during her lifetime for taking thesociety forward. He prompted all the party leaders especially women activistsof the party to follow her footsteps and take lessons from her works andstruggles.

Dr. Nirmal Singh said that she was such a wonderful oratorthat led to elevated status of India worldwide. He said that she was accessibleto all the Indians residing in any part of the world during her term asExternal Affairs Minister.

Kavinder Gupta, while emphasizing her role as the ExternalAffairs Minister, added words about her contribution for the easiness of theVisa process and the Passport services which are available to every Indiancitizen without much hassle now.Later, all the BJP leaders and workers prayedfor the “Moksha” to the heavenly soul.Party State General Secretary YudhvirSethi managed the whole tribute proceedings.
