In the budget session of Delhi Assembly on Thursday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for their demand to make The Kashmir Files tax-free in the state.
“The BJP should ask Vivek Agnihotri to upload it on YouTube and everyone will see it for free,” he said in the state assembly.
This comes a day after the BJP MLAs interrupted the ongoing assembly session on Wednesday and demanded to make The Kashmir Files tax-free.
“Some people have earned crores in the name of Kashmiri Pandits and you have been given the work of just putting up the posters,” Kejriwal said while addressing the BJP in the assembly.
The movie has been made tax-free in several states, including Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tripura, Goa, and Uttarakhand.
