A police complaint has been filed against Priyanka Sharna, Howrah District Club Cell Convener, BJYM for allegedly posting a photo-shopped picture of CM Mamta Bannerjee on her Facebook account yesterday.

While the TMC supremo and WB Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has often accused the PM Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah for being intolerant, situation seems no different in her home turf.

While Didi herself has spoken against the atrocities against people for expressing their dissent, the BJYM Leader was just arrested for caricaturing the WB Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee. In the Met Gala 2019 themed meme, Priyanka Chopra’s headshot was replaced by Mamta’s giving the picture a rather comical twist to otherwise serious Didi.

Twitter has erupted in support of BJYM activist Priyanka Sharma, and hashtags like #ISupportPriyankaSharma and #HitlerDidi, the latter being a reference to Mamta Banerjee acting like Hilter.
