Crime Branch, Jammu registered a formal case against one Sham Singh S/O Bari Singh R/o Sec-04 Pamposh+ Colony, Janipur Jammu, Sujan Singh S/o NandLal R/O Bahu fort Jammu and the revenue officials –1)Maqbool Hussain - the then Patwari HalqaPaloura, Jammu 2) the then concerned Naib Tehsildar and 3) the then concerned Tehsildar for conspiring and cheating the complainant by issuing forged revenue extracts in the shape of‘ far dintekhab’ and ‘Aks Sajra’ for 2 kanals of JDA land at prime location at Paloura, Jammu.

The instant case owes its origin to a written complaint lodged in Crime Branch, Jammu by Col. Mohan Gandotra S/o Sh. Baldev Raj Gandotra R/o H. No. 23, Lane No. 1 Suraksha Vihar Paloura Top Tehsil &District, Jammu, alleging there in that his father had purchased land measuring 2 Kanals  from Sh. Sham Singh(through his attorney holder Sujan  Singh) by virtueof two sale deeds after concerned revenue officials had issued  revenue extracts in Khasra No. 670 min infavour of the accused Sham Singh.

Taking cognizance into the matter,Crime Branch, Jammu initiated a preliminary verification and during enquiry it was found thatconcerned revenue officers /officials had mutated the land in question infavour of father of the complainant, however, the Jammu Development Authority(JDA) claimed it as their own land and erected boundary pillars in the said land in the year 2018. It has also come to fore that there was only 4 marlassh are of the accused Sham Singh left in the above said kahsra and the said accused through his attorney holder -Sujan Singh after hatching a criminal conspiracy with the above said revenue officials /officers forged revenue documents and sold 2 kanals of land after giving physical possession in JDA land.
