A report was received from District Hospital, Kathua about a case of kidnapping, assault and harassment of a Central University of Jammu student.
As the victim was allegedly kidnapped from Central University at Vijaypur by a man named Rajan Singh S/o Duruv Singh R/o Marheen, investigation was taken up by Vijaypur PS with active assistance from Kathua Police Station.
Investigation into the incident is going on.
Reports of certain sections of media about issues in coordination were strongly rebutted.
