Government forces Wednesday afternoon launched a cordon and search operation at wanigam village of achabal district Anantnag.
Reports said that joint team of government force’s including 19RR,SOG of local police and CR4 have laid the cordon and launched searches in the village.
Sources said that cordon was laid by government forces after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
All entry and exit points of the village have been sealed and searches are going on when this report was last filed in.
