The foundation day of Forest Department was celebrated in Forest Division Reasi on completion of 131 years of its existence.
The function was organized in the main premises of Division Forest Office Reasi by planting trees in presence of girl Childs and veteran retired forest officials . Earlier DFO Reasi Ms. Jyotsana visited homes of newly born Girl Childs where trees were planted and also distributed.

DDC Chairman Reasi was main invitee in the function and on the occasion veteran forest officials were also presented plants and gifts . One plant one girl child programme was emphasized. Pertinent to mention that Forest Department came into existence in 1881
