Today on dated 1/08/2022, Reasi Forest Division conducted massive plantation drive at Govt Degree College Reasi under the banner J&K Green drive where about more than 200 plants were planted and distributed.
ABVP Reasi hosted the function where Divisional Forest Officer Reasi, Ms Jyotsana was the chief guest. Students and professors were also enrolled as van matras under the program called VAN MITRA of J&K Forest department .
Plants were also planted in premises of newly born girl childs under the programme ped lagao beti ke naam.
Sole aim of department is to Cover maximum area under green cover and make Reasi a green district.
