A driver from Amritsar Punjab died died due to heart attack in his parked truck on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, official sources said on Tuesday.
They said driver identified as Darshan Singh, resident of Amritsar Punjab, had parked his truck at Digdol Ramban on the highway on Monday night. However, he later complained pain in his chest, they said, adding Singh was immediately taken to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police has registered a case FIR and initiated proceedings.
