BJP State President, Himachal Pradesh, Satpal Satti has again found himself in a controversy. The EC has served him notice after his remarks while he was addressing a public gathering in Mandi.
The State BJP President said, "If someone calls our father thief, we are going to do the same to them." He threatened action against these people after the MCC is lifted. He further said, "If someone points fingers at ModiJi, we will chop their fingers off."
The EC has asked a reply from Satti over his remarks. However, this is not the first Satpal has made such remarks. The EC had banned him from campaigning , just last week, for making derogatory remarks against the Congress President.
Himachal Pradesh goes to polls for its four seats on May 19, 2019, the last phase of the 2019 general election.
