The seventh and the final phase of the 2019 Indian General elections concluded on May 19, 2019 and the exits polls could only be published after 6:30 p.m. on May 19, due to a court order.
According to India TV- CNX Poll, JKNC is set to win 3 seats in Jammu and Kashmir while in 2014, it could not manage to win even a seat in state. BJP which won 3 seats in 2014 may lose one seat to reduce its number to 2, and Congress, which didn't win any seats in 2014 could get one seat in J&K.
The prominent candidate in the state are Farooq Abdullah, Justice (Retd.) Hasnain Masoodi (NC), Mehbooba Mufti (PDP), GA Mir, Vikramaditya Singh (INC) and Dr. Jitendra Singh (BJP).
