The number of G-20 meetings in Jammu and Kashmir will provide an opportunity to showcase the level of development, infrastructure, culture and heritage of J&K to the world. This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta during an interaction with a section of media here on Wednesday.
The BJP stalwart leader said that conduct of G-20 meetings in J&K would come as a unique opportunity for the UT to provide firsthand information to the entire world with regard to the colossal development and enhancement of infrastructure in the region especially after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.
“It becomes imperative for the administration in J&K to get ready with a comprehensive plan to selectively tell the delegates the progress which the region has made after the August 5, 2019 changes which have changed the course of life of the people with end of hegemony of the Kashmir-based political parties that took the people of other regions as for granted and mostly focused on dynastic politics,” he added.
Talking tough against the NC President Farooq Abdullah, Kavinder said that the NC leader has lately developed a habit of bashing India at various forums. He categorically denied the statement of Farooq Abdullah in which he has compared the situation in Sri Lanka with that of India.
Kavinder said that Dr Farooq has lost his mind because the entire world knows that India has progressed by leaps and bounds under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that BJP government’s Kashmir policy has made Farooq and other dynastic politicians politically redundant therefore the same are coming up with baseless remarks against the Modi government to once again try to befool the common man in Kashmir and elsewhere but the people today are mature enough to understand such ploy.
The senior BJP leader said that days have gone when the bundle of lies by dynastic politicians helped in befooling common masses as today no one falls prey to this age old tactics because the BJP government has given them the opportunity to relish peace and prosper to lead a life full of dignity and pride.
