The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) soldiers deployed at the peaks of the India-China border in Arunachal Pradesh celebrated the 75th Republic Day of India.
Marking the occasion, Indian soldiers marched near the border area, waved the Indian flag and raised ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai” slogans.
India-China border near Arunachal Pradesh has been in headlines after a face-off between Indian and Chinese troops in the Tawang sector led to minor injuries “to a few personnel” from both sides, sources said and noted that both sides immediately disengaged from the area.
The sources said on December 9, 2022, PLA troops contacted the LAC in the Tawang Sector of Arunachal Pradesh which was contested by Indian troops in a firm and resolute manner.
India is meanwhile gearing up for a momentous platinum celebration of the country’s Republic Day with an enthralling showcase of its military prowess and rich cultural heritage at the majestic ‘Kartavya Path’ in the national capital.
