J&K Bank commissioned an Easy BankingUnit (EBU) at Jakhar in Udhampur, which was inaugurated by the DeputyCommissioner Udhampur PiyushSingla (IAS) in presence ofthe bank’s Zonal Head Jammu (North II) Anand Pal Singh, Cluster Head Udhampur,valuable customers, senior citizens, local businessmen and senior officers ofthe bank.

While appreciating the bank for openingthe Easy Business Unit in the area the DC Udhampur said, “The bank’s efforts toprovide an inclusive and sustainable financial service network in unservedregions are praiseworthy. Besides ensuring availability of banking services toall sections of the society, it continues to strengthen and refine thefinancial service delivery mechanisms”.

Reaffirming the bank’s commitment toprovide banking facilities to people irrespective of their locations andstatus, the Zonal Head said that the EBU shall mark the beginning of a brighterand better financial future of these areas.

The local people hailed the bank’s effortsand expressed their gratitude towards its management for extending bankingfacilities to the unbanked areas.
