J&K Police in Ramban districts  achieved a major success by busting the fakeappointment orders  and other forgeddocuments from two fraudsters who  onpretext of providing job in army (TA) and have duped lakhs of rupees from manypersons  hailing fromBishna,Kupwara,Banihal, Ramban,Samba etc.

The accused have been identified as Mohammad Qasim S/Ochiddi Mohammad R/O kangan District Ganderbal and Ashiq yousuf S/O MohdyousufR/O Lar Ganderbal.

Reports said that one person Namely  Bilal Ahmad S/O GH. Mohammad R/O AsharBanihallodged a written complaint in PS Banihal that one Mohammad Qasim S/O chiddiMohammad R/O kangan District Ganderbal have duped Rs1.5 lakh from him and hisfriends on pretext of providing job in Indian Army (TA) by providing fakejoining orders.

Upon his complaint a case FIR NO 137/2019 U/S 420/465/468IPC stand registered in PS Banihal.

On the directions of SSP Ramban Ms. Anita Sharma JKPS, apolice party was constituted which immediately swung into action and arrestedthe main fraudster namely  Mohammad Qasimalongwith his associate Ashiq yousuf S/O Mohdyousuf R/O Lar Ganderbal andrecovered fake appointment order copies/joining letters of 161 CO TA IndianArmy from their possessions.

During sustained questioning both the accused personsrevealed that on pretext of providing jobs in army (TA) they have duped lakhsof Rupees from many persons from Bishna,Kupwara,Banihal, Ramban,Samba etc.. Theaccused persons were further being questioned to ascertain the modus operandiof the crime and other aspects related to the case. The investigation of thecase is still in progress.
