ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Wednesday said that three militants of Lashkar-i-Toiba terror outfit were killed in an encounter at Waterhail area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Kumar said that three militants were killed in an encounter, however identity of the slain militants are yet to be ascertained.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, "#BudgamEncounterUpdate: All the three hiding LeT #terrorists #neutralised. Bodies being retrieved from the site, identication yet to be ascertained. #Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition recovered. A big success for us: ADGP Kashmir. "
Earlier, ADGP Kashmir Kashmir Vijay Kumar in a tweet said that Lateef Rather among three LeT militants trapped in encounter.
As per ADGP, Lateef Rather was involved in killing of Rahul Bhat, Ambreen Bhat and several other civilians.
