Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri has arrested a man for raping a girl and blackmailing her by clicking and circulating her naked photographs.

A man from a village of Nowshera lodged a complaint before police alleging that a man from Paran in Qila Darhal area has raped his daughter and also clicked photographs of her and later circulated the same on social media.Taking note of it, police took cognizance and registered a case inFIR under relevant sections of law including 376 RPC, 354 C, 109 RPC and 67 ITAct.

A team of police headed by SHO Nowshera Fareed Ahmed underthe supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma and Additional SP NowsheraGirdhari Lal Sharma conducted raid and arrested accused namely Zulfqar Ahmedson of Mohammad Razzaq resident  ParanKalakote. Investigation in the case is going on.
