Sh. Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Member of Parliament, Ladakh today met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan here.

Sh. Namgyal discussed with the Lt Governor a range of issues related to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh including rationalization of staff in Government run departments, division of assets and transfer of staff hailing from Ladakh and currently deputed in Medical Department in J&K.

Sh. Namgyal requested the Lt Governor for the continuation of the reservation of students from ST Category belonging to Ladakh in educational institutions across J&K.

The Lt Governor and Sh. Namgyal also discussed about the developmental aspirations of people of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and various other issues relating to public welfare.
