Militants attack security force naka party in south Kashmir

Militants late on Monday evening attacked security force naka party in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.

They said that unidentified militant fired at a security force checkpoint at Malangpora in Pulwama. “The security forces retaliated ensuing in a brief exchange of fire,” they said, adding no one was injured in the attack.

They said the militants managed to escape from the spot under the cover of darkness. “Additional security forces have been rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched t nab the attackers,” they added.
