A mudslide near Dalwas area of Ramban along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has forced the closure of the only all-weather road connecting Kashmir to the outside world, reports said on Saturday.
Traffic officials said that the traffic from both the sides has been stopped and that the restoration work in underway.
The officials said that the traffic is expected to be resumed soon.
It has been raining in many parts across Jammu and Kashmir since early Saturday, with cloudburst reported from several areas too.
