The wind storm in Jammu yesterday left one person dead and one injured in Arnas area while it caused major damage to the infrastructure in Jammu. The worst affected was the power infrastructure as all the transmission line were disturbed due to felling of trees.
Almost whole Jammu plunged into darkness after the Storm and the power to several areas was restored late in the night by the efforts of PDD department. Various losses were reported from other places as well.
