President Kovind pays obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine

The President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind, reached Katra on Friday for the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi.

During this, his wife Savita Kovind, daughter Swati Kovind and Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also stayed with him. Keeping in mind the security of the President, the administration kept strict arrangements.

After darshan, he will go back to Jammu by helicopter.The President reached Jammu on Thursday. Here he participated in the convocation ceremony of IIM Jammu and distributed degrees to the students.
