Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to launch the Ayushman Bharat scheme which is a scheme to extend health insurance to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow.
The scheme is going to provide a financial cover of Rs 5 lakhs per family for Jammu and Kashmir as well.
This is yet another step towards 'Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas' for the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. The sources are saying that Home Minister Amit Shah and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha will also be present for this occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been repeatedly talking about the inclusiveness and Ayushman Bharat is a flagship health insurance scheme provided by the Government of India for families who are poor and have lower incomes.
