After being disqualified from the Lok Sabha, now the Lok Sabha Housing Committee has given notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to vacate the government-allotted bungalow. In 2004 when Rahul won his first Lok Sabha election from Amethi, UP, he was allotted a 5-bedroom bungalow situated at 12 Tughlak Lane in Lutyens' Delhi.
This is not the first time a Congress leader has been asked to vacate government-allotted bungalow. In July 2020, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had to vacate her official bunglow at Lodhi Estateafter her security cover was downgraded.
