The moon of Ramadan has not been sighted in Jammu & Kashmir, confirmed the local mosques' groups after Isha prayers. The region of Kashmir Valley was also awaiting the decision to be taken by the Pakistan's Ruet-e-Hilal Committee - which holds geographical proximity with the region. With Pakistan announcing that the moon has not been sighted, the J&K hilal bodies also decided to begin Ramzan from Saturday as the moon was neither seen in Jammu region nor the Valley.
