Reasi forest division under the supervision of CF west Rajouri Vivek Verma IFS and DFO Reasi Jyotsana IFS organised awareness walk for creating awareness and ensuring at least one plant in each house. The walk was flagged off by DC Reasi Babila Rukwal KAS .
While passing through the Residential area one plant in each house was planted and people were made aware about the importance of trees and forests using music of drum beats.
The students of higher secondary and degree college also participated in walk along with police and administration.
People were enrolled as van mitras who would protect the forests and assist department in conservation and protection of forests .It's an effort of department to bring back people residing in town towards plants and promote plantation
