Reena seeks LG's intervention for release of funds to execute work on Trauma Hospital

Block Development Council (BDC) Dansal Chairperson, Reena Thappa has demanded the release of payment for the approved trauma /accidental hospital at Jhajjar Kotli and for the upgradation of Primary Health Centre (PHC) to Sub District Hospital Dansal. She has sought Lt Govemor Manoj Sinha's intervention for release of the funds for the priority project. The BDC Chairperson voiced this demand in a statement issued to media here today. She said that the establishment of Trauma Hospital in Panchyat Jhajjar Kotli was approved by the then Lt Governor GC Murme. However it is a matter of serious concern and lament that till date nei-ther any land has been selected in Panchayat Jhajjar

nor any amount has been sanctioned/ released for starting the construction of trauma hospital building till today, she said. mg the construction of Trauma Hospital in Panchayat Jhajjar Kotli and also for the upgradation of PHC Hospital Dansal into Sub District Hospital Dansal at Headquarter Dansal, but no further progress has been made in the aforesaid mat-ters. Lamenting that this indi-cates that the significant issue stands held up due to laimess of the concemed authorities thus not only causing unwanted delay in the execu-tion of the said projects but also resulting in escalation of the project costs, Reena Thappa appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to take up both the matters with the concerned authorities and direct them to immediately release the requisite funds for trauma hospital and give approval for upgradation of PHC Dansal in the interest and welfare of the people of Block Dansal.
