A press conference of J&K Joint Employees Action Committee was held at Jammu today under the chairmanship of its state President Sh. Babu Hussain Malik along with Kulwant Singh Sambyal, Amarnath Thakur, Satish Dutta, Yash Pal Sharma along with other members of the fraternity to discuss the Pay anomalies of the Clerical Cadre/amendment in SRO-333 and other issues of the J&K state government employees.
A threadbare discussion was also held related to different issues of the general employees. The demands include:
1. To change the summer timing in all the offices of the state government in Jammu Province from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or five days working with holidays on Saturday for the government offices outside the Civil Secretariat in the interest of administration and common man.
2. Removal of pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre/amendment of SRO-333.
3. Increase the medical allowance from 300 a month to 5,000 a month.
4. Regularisation of daily wagers/Consolidated/Contractual and Anganwari Workers.
All the members in One Voice appeal to The Hon'ble governor to redress the genuine grievances of employees at all level
