Rotary club Jammu Tawi donated 4 lakh rupees to PM CARES fund .29 cheques amounting to ₹ 217600 were presented to Kavinder Gupta former dy CM by President Raman Sherpuri, dr Dushyant Governor designate rotary and rtn Ashok Kumar Gupta ips retd. Another 2 lakh was transferred by RTGS/ Apps. It may be mentioned that rotary club Jammu Tawi has been distributing rations to needy daily, serving Lunch to all doctors on duty in GMC since day one of lockdown. The club has distributed PPEs, Masks & sanitizers to doctors in GMC & medical staff & patients in isolation centres since last month when all concerned were feeling handicapped due to scarcity of these critical items. President & many members of the club contributed their time and resources and faced various hazards to accomplish these tasks in difficult conditions on daily basis.
