Former State President BJP Sat Sharma (CA) met with members of Cement and Building material association, Jammu. The meeting was attended by President Satpal Jain, Parshotam Verma Vice President, Rajat Soodan General Secy., Sahil Suri Cashier, Arpit Arora Secy.

The association discussed matters on how Covid-19 has impacted the building material sector which has already been struggling because of the prolonged lockdowns in the UT. The Cement and Building material industry in Jammu employs daily wagers and other full time working employees which have been out of work during this period.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma (CA) assured the members of the association that their issue will be taken up with concerned authorities. He mentioned that while every sector of the country has taken a hit due to Covid-19, the Narendra Modi led BJP government plans to revive the economy and all its sectors in coming time. He also stated that recent infusion of economic package worth Rupees 20 lakh crores in Indian economy i.e 10% of our GDP by the Prime Minister to bring everything back on track has proved to be very effective and will regain the momentum. It also covers every aspect that was affected during the pandemic.
