A group of J&K residents escaped from Mohali using fake curfew passes and were caught attempting to cross Lakhanpur Border of Jmmu and Punjab.
After detecting fraud the Punjab Police detained Hamid Gauri, Ali Mohammad Raina, Urfee Jan, Aasma Hamid, Mohammaudin, Mufzar and Ansari Bhat.
All seven were headed towards Anantnag in J&K using a forged ass shown to be issued from Mohali deputy Commissioner office and allowing them to go from Mohali to Lakhanpur.
