The Kashmir Files has received a great response from the audience. On Wednesday, March 16, the film’s team, including director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, and the film’s producer Abhishek, met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Agnihotri thanked Shah for encouraging his team.
THE KASHMIR FILES TEAM MEETS AMIT SHAH
The Kashmir Files depicts the story of the Kashmir Genocide on the big screen. In 1990, Kashmiri Pandits were persecuted, forced out of their homeland and murdered. The film attempts to highlight that dark history to the masses.
After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the film's team met Home Minister Amit Shah today, March 16, in Delhi. Sharing pictures from the meeting on Twitter, Vivek Agnohotri wrote, "Thanks a lot @AmitShahOffice ji for your encouragement. Your consistent efforts for the human rights of Kashmiri people and security forces is commendable. Your vision for a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir will strengthen humanity and brotherhood. #RightToJustice (sic)."
