In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PP Gadigarh, PP Phallian Mandal and BPP Sandwan acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized 03 different vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:
One tractor trolley without registration No, by PP Gadigarh.
One tipper bearing registration No. JK02CR-9844, by PP Phallian Mandal.
One tractor trolley without registration No, by BPP Sandwan.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The recoveries were made by I/C PP Gadigarh SI Ravinder Singh, Gadigarh, I/C PP Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal and I/C BPP Sandwan ASI Jang Bhadur in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
