The Traffic on Jammu Srinagar Highway was disturped for fourt consective day due to shooting stones in the HIghway, The highways is considered to be lifeline of Kashmir valley as it is the only way to reach the valley. The restrictions on highways have already evoked a sharp response as the supplies to the valley have been affected due to the Highways restrictions as there is no civilian movement on Sunday and Wednesday. 
The traffic on the Highway has been ditruped due to the recent rains in the state and also it is worthwhile to mention here that condition of the Highway has deteriorated due to the four laning also.
SSP JS Johar said that though the traffic is moving but the pace is very slow on Monkey morh due to shooting stones and hoped that the stranded vehicles on the highway shall be cleared very soon.
