Union Honey secretary Ajay Bhalla today reviewed security arrangement and various development projects in J&K at Srinagar on Monday. According to sources a detailed security review was taken by the Home Secretary in view of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra which is scheduled to start from 29th June. The security meet was attended by DGP Jammu and Kashmir Sh. RR Swain among other senior Police and central forces officers.
The Union Home Secretary gave explicit instructions to strengthen security grid and intelligence network to avoid any untoward incident during election and Amarnath Yatra.
The Union Home Secretary also reviewed the development works in J&K which was attended by the Chief Secretary among other Secretaries. The overall development scenario including Industries, Tourism, Power, PHE , R&B and Urban Development among other were reviewed during the meeting. Sh Ajay Bhalla asked the officers to redouble the efforts to make palpable change in J&K.
