In an operation Jointly conducted by J&K Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, Wildlife Department , a joint team managed to recover 5 leopard skins, 6 nails, 9 canines , 2 skulls and leopard bones.
This is first of its Kind operation conducted on the basis of months of strenuous efforts put in by the team. 
In this matter a case under relevant sections of Wildlife Protection Act stands registered at PS Jhajjar Kotli and one accused Khushal Hussain S/o Gh Nabi R/o Kangrial Kathar has been arrested. 

Efforts are on to identify and apprehended other members of this module.  The operation was led and coordinated by SDPO Nagrota , Dr. Pragatheesh from WCCB,SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Rajesh Khajuria  and Mr. Vijay Kumar Verma Wildlife Warden Kathua.

Further details are being investigated which will yield more information in future.
