With MoU, the Post-COVID economy has taken off from J&K; Unutilized huge bamboo reserves of the UT would be an important part in future economy: Dr Jitendra Singh

Union MoS, Dr Jitendra Singh, while addressing the gathering, observed that with the signing of MoU, the post-COVID economy has taken off from the UT and the untapped huge bamboo reserves of the region would be an important part in the country’s future economy and J&K as well.

Dr Singh said that the bamboo cultivation would be cost effective if done in an institutionalized manner and would eventually revolutionize the economy of the region. He said that Common Facilitation Centers would be established across Jammu region. “The onset of the Bamboo industry would boost the employment and revenue generation in the region,” he added.
