Yatra to the holy Amarnath cave shrine was resumed onTuesday from Baltal base camp, after remaining suspended for three days, due toslippery track following rain, while pilgrimage on the traditional Pahalgamroute was progressing, with 3.23 lakh yatris having paid obeisance, since thecommencement of the yatra, from July 1.

Meanwhile, a fresh batch of 1175 pilgrims left for BhagwatiNagar, Jammu base camp in 47 vehicles for Baltal in the central Kashmirdistrict of Ganderbal and Nunwan Pahalgam in south base camps early thismorning, under unprecedented security arrangements.
